CAMRA BOOKSHOP

New this year, a separate bookshop where you can add to your collection of CAMRA Books. Hot off the press is 50 Great Pub Crawls by Barrie Pepper and a new and improved Guide to Real Ale in a Bottle by Jeff Evans, plus the latest editions of Room at the Inn by Jill Adam and Good Pub Food by Sue Novak. There is also the opportunity to order the Millennium Good Beer Guide edited by Roger Protz at a special price.

BEERY BITS & BOBS

CASK MARQUE

Formed in 1998 following research which showed that the quality of cask ale ‘in the glass’ was inconsistent with 1 in 5 pints below acceptable standards. To help address this situation Cask Marque launched an accreditation scheme to approve licensees who serve "The perfect pint". Financed by both brewers, retail pub groups and licensees, free local pub guides are avaialbe. Details can be found on www.cask-marque.co.uk

CRAFT BREWING ASSOCIATION

The Craft Brewing Association is the UK’s homebrewing organisation run by homebrewers for homebrewers. Come and see, taste and smell the ingredients which make real ale. Watch it being brewed in the new stainless steel brewing kit and taste some of the high quality beers being brewed by our members.

SOCIETY FOR PRESERVATION OF BEER FROM THE WOOD

The SPBW was founded in 1963 and aims to promote (and consume) the best traditional ales in the best pubs. The emphasis is on social events arranged by the Society’s Branches. Visit our stall for more information and see our range or products.
