The hotel is reknowned for the excellent dining facilities and extensive menus using the best of northumbria's local produce. from The North Sea ports of Seahouses and Eyemouth, from the Cheviot and Lammermuir hills and from thr forests and farms of Kielder and North Northumberland we take deliveries every day and our team of six dedicated young Chefs create award winning dishes in three separate dining areas.

Our Menus pay tribute to the variety of the best of this produce, we present a constantly changing Table d'Hote menu ,which is included in our Dinner Bed & Breakfast Tariff and our highly regarded A la Carte menu. is available with a full allowance for those wishing to indulge themselves in the imagination of the talented kitchen staff. Our large garden is the source of fresh fruit and vegetables to compliment main courses; whilst eggs, milk and cream come from the farm to form the basis of a delightful display of Home made sweets and puddings,

 

 

The Buttery offers a more simple substantial menu that is greatly appreciated by the visitors and locals, the accent on freshness still being the absolute criterion.
