A Long Walk Back 6 straight levels from Harry Mass Senior that are well designed and decorated. It's an 'old school' type addon - the levels are fast moving and atmospheric, with lots of mutants and white officers. There are some changed graphics but the original Wolf 3D/Spear feel remains. Available here. The gold key doesn't usually show on the status bar but it does open locked doors.
A Madman's Dream Sequel to Beyond Tobruk. Ten new levels, plus tons of new graphics, sounds and source code changes. By John Bucksnort. You can find it here.
A Time To Die 5 levels which are well decorated and quite extensive. There's a mix of Wolf3D/Spear graphics and some new sounds. Fast moving, it's quite a difficult set to beat at times. Level 3 needs some pushwalls opened to complete the level. By Lakota Bucksnort. It's available here.

A World Of Rage Made by Joshua Waight. The 8 levels are of a fair size and in one single episode. There's a mix of old and new graphics, many new sounds, and a hard hitting soundtrack including music from Quake 2 and Halo! A detailed doc file is included. Available here.
Abandon Possum Trot's first set and has 50 levels that are mostly extensive and well detailed. There are many changed graphics and sounds though the Wolf 3D feel remains. A credits list is included. There's quite a mix of old and new graphics which blend together well most of the time. Available here. Episode One has only one level.
Abandon 2 - Purgatory 15 seamless, fairly extensive and well decorated levels made by Possum Trot. Graphics come from various sources, there are changed sounds and the exe used is from Gary's 'Countdown To Disaster'. It all blends together quite well and retains the original Wolf 3D feel. Absence The 18 seamless levels are well made and cover a wide range of scenarios. Virtually all graphics and sounds have been changed. There are many complex code changes like buying implants to improve weapon strength, switching to emergency power, passwords, diaries, shock barriers and exploding barrels. The log disc feature is very impressive too and helps to create more of an 'action role-playing' game rather than a straight shooter game. It all blends together very well. By Havoc. Available here. All This And Wolf3D 70 levels that are extensive, well designed and well decorated. Although there are some graphics changes, the Wolf3D feel is retained quite well. Area 51 There are 11 levels, and from what I played already they look good. There are many new features including teleporting, new 'readthis', endart and message screens. The graphics are largely based on Blake Stone. By Luke Strauman. It's available here.

Assassinate Hitler is a new 20 level set by Gary Ragland. Very good interesting and varied layout. Some objects and wall designs have been changed but the atmosphere of the original game remains. More difficult than the registered set. Download it from here.

Assassinate Hitler 2 Demo A 3 level demo of a sequel to Gary Ragland's 'Assassinate Hitler'. What's there is done well though the levels are not that large. The third level is a revamp of the original shareware boss level but you meet Hitler and not Hans Grosse. There are some source code and graphics changes. Assault On Castle Wolfenstein Kyo Kusanagi. It's called 'Assault On Castle Wolfenstein' and has 3 episodes. Some of the levels are modified originals - particularly on episode 3. There are lots of graphics changes though most I've seen elsewhere. It blends together quite well. It's available here.

Batman: Wrath Of Mr. Freeze A sequel to Ian Skevos-Jones' first 'Batman' TC. There are 25 good seamless levels and some new features, including 3 new weapons, 2 new keys, armor, and ambient sounds. The helpart is very detailed. It all blends together well. You can download it here.
Behind Enemy Lines 4 levels that are extensive, well designed and with about the right amount of decoration. There's a number of new graphics and these blend in quite nicely and are particularly effective in outdoor scenes. Berlin Express Six new levels, plus many graphics and source code changes. The train station and carriage scenes are quite effective!! A very good set by Harry Mass Senior. Download it here.
Beyond Castle's Dungeons 16 good seamless levels. Made as a homage to Wolf Skevos-Jones, and many of the images, sounds and code changes come from Wolf's sets. The Bitter End 10 levels by Thomas Weiling that are designed and decorated very well. Code changes include 400+ static objects and 150+ guards and were made by Dean Horton. There are no graphics changes and the original Wolf3D feel is retained very well. Thomas tells me the game is meant to follow the plot of Episode 3. Available here.
BJ's Last Mission Sixty mostly new levels. Many of the graphics are from Spear and some I've not seen before. The devil 'statue' now moves around! Mostly it all blends together quite well, though there are odd walls that look out of place at times. By George Warren. Click here for the download.
Blake Revolution 45 quite extensive and well decorated levels, mostly with lots of guards. The graphics and sounds are mainly from Blake Stone and Astrostein though some are from elsewhere. Bushenstein 3-D Michael Collin's full version edition of his shareware set 'Bushenstein 3-D'. This one has 21 fair sized levels spread over 6 episodes. There are some new sounds and graphics are like in the earlier shareware set, i.e. a mix of original game graphics with some American icons. You can get it here.
Cartosa Lives! Final version by Rocketboy680. Now has 16 levels spread over 6 episodes, and though mostly not that extensive, I particularly like the outdoor effects of the first level. Many new graphics including actors, though no new sounds. Some minor code changes. You can get it here.
Castle Assault 35 levels (5 of them secret levels) from Thomas Weiling, and they are all designed and decorated well. There are mostly original Wolf3D graphics, but there are new bosses from Bruno deo Vergilio. Code changes (done by Havoc and Thomas) include changed ceiling colours, seamless levels, helpart and a new music order. Available here.
Castle Grom The level design and decoration is done very well and all 8 new levels are very extensive. There's a good mix of Wolf 3D and ROTT graphics and sounds that blend quite nicely together and there is new music that fits well. Castle Hasselhoff 20 seamless levels that are extensive and of good quality. Most of the graphics, sounds and music are new and blend together well. Code changes include ceiling/floor textures, shading. full screen and exploding barrels. Although the Spear feel is retained somewhat, there's also a humorous feel too. By Michael Collin. Castle Mörder 8 new levels, including a secret level. Most levels are quite extensive, especially the early ones, and there are quite a number of different mapping ideas used. There are many changed graphics that come from various sources. The weapons and many of the sounds come from the Mac version. It all blends together quite well. Castle Totenkopf Wolf Skevos-Jones first TC. Well designed levels with good layouts. There are many source code changes, including new enemies (not replaced ones or ghosts, but full 8-sided guards) and a couple new weapons. One episode with 21 levels (like Spear). Many new graphics and sounds, a lot of them modified from the Spear episodes 2 and 3. You can find it here.

Coming Of The Storm Traditional type of Wolf3D add-on by Wolf Skevos-Jones, but lots of new things have been added. There are many new graphics, sounds, and music. There are also many new source code features, including new actors, new weapons and ammo types, a backpack, directional sprites, ambient sounds, and outdoor atmosphere (on level 1). Crash Bandicoot 2 21 levels from Little Cherub that are extensive, well designed and nicely decorated. Virtually all graphics have been replaced with cartoon type ones and they are very well made. Cuetips Revenge is by Steven L. Pappas. Lots of new graphics/sounds, and the bitmaps and wav files of these are included in the zip. There's also a changed exe file. DOOM: Legions Of Hell v1.02 Four episodes (40 levels) and they are quite extensive, well designed and decorated well. Virtually all graphics, sounds and music have been replaced and fit well together to create a great DOOM atmosphere. There are many code changes and include gun bobbing, ceiling/floor textures, ray casting, extra keys, switches and teleports. Looks very professionally done. By Insurrectionman. Doom: The Movie 8 levels that are not that large but are well designed and decorated. The new graphics, sounds and music blend well together and the Doom atmosphere comes across well. Gespenster Dating from 2003, there are 10 extensive and well made levels. The graphics and sounds are mostly changed. Ghost Betrayal 8 levels that are fairly extensive and quite well decorated. There's a mix of new and original Wolf3D graphics though much of the Wolf3D feel still remains. Guild Of Darkness Ten levels, some with very large rooms. The level four maze with a seemingly endless number of doors is quite effective. There's a number of new graphics and source code changes. Guns And Glory 31 levels spread over 5 episodes. Most levels are extensive and there's quite a number of different scenarios. Klooni A Doom to Wolf3D conversion that brings as much of the Doom gameplay to Wolf3D as possible. There are 60 levels (6 episodes) and they are very well made. Although the base for the source code comes from the Totengraeber Developer Pack, there are many extra code changes including extra weapons (plus reloading), multi-floors and ceiling textures and the dog changed into an extra guard. Project: Cell Raziel was working on this with 2 friends, E Marcos Levit and Tamir Kastiel, way back in 2002. It was thought to be lost until he found it recently. There are 9 levels (no secret level) that are well designed and nicely decorated. Although there are graphics changes, the Wolf3D feel still remains and will especially suit those who like the original game. Project: Infiltrate Three level set that Zach Higgins made before 'Project: Vertilgung'. It was thought to be lost until I came across it on my hard drive. Project: Toten Eisen Ritter 60 continuous levels, split into many enviroments. Project Wolfgeist 37 levels by Possum Trot that are well decorated though some are not that extensive. There are many changed graphics, changed sounds, many code changes such as gun bobbing, helpart and ceiling/floor textures and a detailed storyline. KyleRTCW did the coding. The laboratory areas especially are quite atmospheric. Available here.
Quakenstein 3D 9 levels (first episode) by Pete Jones. The levels are not that large though this is meant to be a fun type set with more emphasis on the effects. There's a mix of original and cart oon type graphics and some new sounds. Click here for the download.
Quest For The General 12 seamless high quality levels by Thomas Weiling that combine well with the mix of new and original graphics. The Wolf3D feel is retained well. Resident Evil 18 consecutive seamless levels that are mostly quite well made though a few are not that extensive. Graphics are partly from HOS, partly from the original Wolf 3D and there are some that I've not seen before. Changed sounds and music. Resistant 13 new levels of a fair size and they are well designed and decorated. Schabbs 7000 3 finished levels (some others are unfinished) by Thomas Weiling, plus many changed walls and objects that retain the Wolf 3D feel well. Havoc did the code changes and include 4 keys, up to 60 seamless levels and an increased ammo limit. It could be useful as a base for a new mod as there's a new exe and new mapedit definition files included. Thomas used it as a base for his 'Secrets Of Offenbach' mod. Available here.

Schabb's Resurrection Nate Smith's 2nd set, now completed. Nice blend of Wolfenstein 3-D and Spear graphics. There's a new blue uniformed guard too. Changes have been made to the source code. You can have more than 100 per cent health, and the guards now move faster. Available here.

Team Aardwolf Mapset Final Version 30 seamless levels made by Team Aardwolf members. Contributors include Ronwolf, Thomas, Valts, serpens, Nexion, Fireboy, lilmanjs, Megabyte and myself. All levels are quite extensive. Most of the original graphics have been retained but there are a few minor changes. Venom By Joshua Waight. The 5 levels are mostly not that large and are quite mazy at times. There are some changed graphics and sounds. All the actors' are changed. Wilwolf 3D 60 levels from Wil Sas and though they were made with Creator, many have since been modified. There are many changed graphics, some from Spear Lost Episodes and some from elsewhere. Very few original graphics remain but it all blends quite well together and keeps the original Wolf 3D feel. Lots of new sounds and music. Some basic source code changes. Available here.
Wolf Hour A one episode ten level set (uses episode three), and has many interesting source code changes, including a missile launcher. Some graphics have been changed too. By Paal Olstad. Wolf Reborn An alternative set of graphics and sounds for the full version by Zach Higgins which is ideal for map sets that don't come with new vswap/audio files. Some are from Spear Resurrection and Totengraeber. Others are Zach's own work and one is from Parafriction's Final Solution. You have to supply the maps. I used my own Wolfbel2 maps and they came out well - the original atmosphere is still there. Get it here.
The Wolf3D Community Map Pack Made by Tricob, Thomas, Dean, WLHack, RonWolf and Brian. It has minor code changes, new music for the title screen, Spear Of Destiny graphics, and a handful of other enhancements. There are six new episodes in this collection, each of which has six levels in all. Level 5 of each episode is a boss level, and Level 6 of each episode is a Secret Level. Available here. Wolf3D Endgame Made by jpb6891, the 10 levels are mostly modified original episode one levels. Level 9 is by Valts. As the title suggests, there is at least one boss on each level but also quite a generous amount of ammo and health. There are a few modified graphics but the Wolf3D feel remains. The music order and endart has been changed. Credit should also go to RonWolf who made the new exe (which was originally used in the TA Mapset). Available here.

Wolfenstein 3: The Return Of Hitler First release by Jose Gutierrez. There are around 40 levels, mostly of a fair size, though some including the first 2, are quite small. Many levels are heavily decorated at times. There's a number of changed graphics, some completely new, and there's some new sounds. All the bmp and wav files used in the game are included in a separate folder. Available here.

Wolfenstein Reloaded - Final Version From KFH Games, 60 levels that are extensive and nicely designed though later episodes can only be played by completing the preceding one. Virtually all graphics have been changed, their vision is for a Wolf 3D type feel but in their own style and it works well. There are a lot of code changes like optional ceiling/floor textures, shading and automatic weapon selection. There's also intrart and a comprehensive 'read this' section. Available here. There is a mix of new and original graphics, sounds and music that blend quite well together. Although retaining the Wolf3D atmosphere somewhat, the mod also has a feel of its own. Wolfenstein Sextilogy Parts 1 And 2 The 10 levels in the first episode are from the previously released 'Episode 1 Revisited', though the 10 levels in the second episode are new. They are very well made and with the new vswap, create quite an atmospheric scenario. The levels are also designed to be played with the original Wolf3D vswap (not supplied). Wolfenstein Super Action Around 45 levels spread over 6 episodes. Some levels are quite extensive while others are just a few rooms. Most of the walls and some objects have been changed and many walls have graffiti designs. There are a lot of guards at times, often in packs, but there's a lot of health/ammo too. Wolfrain By Fred Kenny. Bright coloured walls and actors' that have only their heads!! The 60 levels are a modified version of those used in Fred's earlier set 'Wolffred'. Apart from episode 3, these levels were modified original game levels. No new sounds but some minor code changes such as ceiling colours and increased health/ammo. You can get it here.
Wolf-Extra (Special Version) 24 levels, and although they come from the original version, there's 4 keys this time and a new EXE. You can get it from Poet's Wolfenstein Page. For copyright reasons, Paal has left out the original AUDIO files which you have to supply from the registered set.
World War III: Special Edition Revamp of Will Hooper's earlier 'World War III' set. All of the 10 levels are modified with different layouts, there's a new title screen, plus there's some changed textures and two secret 'club house' areas. You can download it here.
W.O.T.H II: Milly F. Fox Saves J.T.H. Revised beta version. (It's full title is Wrath Of The Hedgehog II: Milly F. Fox Saves John The Hedgehog). Countdown To Disaster Same storyline as 'Wolf 3D - Episode Six - Confrontation'. There are 13 normal levels, plus a Boss and 2 secret levels. They are high quality - and they are quite extensive. There are many graphics imported from 'Spear' and also some source code changes such as a different music order and two new keys. A very good set overall by Gary Ragland which you can download here.
Darkenstein 1.3, is a 10 level set requiring the registered game to play. Mostly new graphics and objects. It's available here.
Dobaysoft's Wolf3D Level Pack Nine new levels (e1l1 thru e1l5, e2l1 thru e2l3 and e3l1). They are by Dobaysoft. The level quality is mostly very good, though there are times when an odd wall looks out of place. Coding tricks like invisible doors and guard statues have been used on some levels. Episode 1 Map Set Jacob Rodgers made these maps between 2004 and 2006 and has since modified them. They started out as maps for an unfinished project called 'Operation God Hand'. There are 10 levels and they are all quite extensive, fast moving and well designed with good decoration. Will suit those who like to play with original Wolf3D graphics. Available here.
Episode Four Gary Ragland's first set for some time (due to his college work) but the magic is still there! No new graphics or sounds etc, but with levels of this quality it doesn't matter. Enjoy! Available here.
Episode One Revisited 10 new levels done in the original Wolf 3D style and the levels are well made and quite extensive. The decoration is done well and is about the right amount. There is an alternative vswap with changed graphics and sounds from various sources, and it retains the Wolf 3D atmosphere and fits very well with the changed ceiling colours. Halten Sie! Originally released for the Mac, Laz Rojas has now released a PC version. There are 10 straight levels which are well designed and replace the first episode. Ragnarok A set of maps by A. Acquinucus which has 30 new levels (though the first level has a lot of the original one in it). They are quite extensive and of a high standard. No new graphics or sounds but those who like the original set will find this pretty good. You can download it here.
Red Sunrise 60 new levels by Michael Kalous. All levels are quite extensive, though the last 30, which Michael tells me were made later, have more decoration. Graphics are virtually all original so this will suit those who like the original game. Available here.

The Road To Despair Nineteen new levels by Viper which play as an add-on to Project Totengraeber. Looks like a real difficult set - there's good level design and well placed guards. You can get it here or from The Wolfenstein 3D Vault.
Rotzi Eight new levels (all 6 Boss levels, plus episode two - level 4 and the sixth secret level). The remaining levels come from W3D_cc1. Get it here.
Scarystein By JJ and has five new levels. There's a new nasty looking Hans Grosse and there's other graphics and sounds changes. I helped with some of the levels. You can get it here.
Shankenstein, is a 60 level set, which is quite difficult. There are many winding passages. Available here.

Temporary Insanity, is available from Easyspace. Getting past the guards is difficult enough. (Bosses appear on many of the lower levels, and not just Hans Grosse). However, you have to think too. Secret doors are in plentiful supply, and there are many surprises. 30 classic levels!
Terror Returns Ten well designed levels (no secret level) and some new graphics from rdk software. Get it here.
Trickstein (v1.0) Patrick Grey's second set of levels and, as the title suggests, there are a lot of trick effects this time. There are five new levels on episode four, including a very hard to find secret level. Lots of pushwalls and narrow passages. No new graphics or sounds. You can download it here.
The Trilogy Revisited Serpens first addon is a 30 level mapset called 'The Trilogy Revisited'. The maps are well designed and nicely decorated. They are similar in style to those from the original Wolf3D game and will suit those who appreciate good level design. Text file included. Available here.
Trilogy Revisited + Nocturnal Missions A 60 level map set made by Serpens. The first 3 episodes have been released before as 'Trilogy Revisited' though 2 of the episode 1 levels have since been revised. The episodes 4 thru 6 are completely new (hence Nocturnal Missions) and are nicely made in the original Wolf3D style. The decoration is about right and use of the different types of guards has been done very well. This is a very good set of levels for those who like playing the original Wolf3D game. Available here.
TRTD v0.8 Executor's new beta version of TRTD (The Road To Despair) contains 29 levels -- 27 normal levels and 2 secret ones. The graphics are vastly altered. Wolf316 is a 30 level set. It has modified graphics (most guards are now in white suits), and the former Nazi castle is now dedicated to being a centre for some drug cult. The layout is quite mazy, with many narrow passages. Available at Easyspace.
Wolfbat Another set of graphics for Fred Kenny's WolfUSA set of levels (the new levels are on episode three, but all other episodes have some alterations done by Fred, particularly episode one). As the title suggests, there are bats - they seem to be everywhere and come in many sizes. There are also many new vivid wall designs and some other object changes. You can download it here.
Wolfen60 is a 60 level set put together from various sources. Similar in many respects to the original game. Available here.
Wolfenstein 3D Part 2: The Nuclear War Modified graphics from Marty Beltran. Spear fans will like these. Now has 2 new levels. Graphics updated again 07/18/99. Find it here.
Wolffred By Fred Kenny. Ten new levels on episode three which I helped Fred complete. All episodes have been included because they've all been changed in some way by Fred, particularly episode one. The graphics are mainly from Astrostein and WolfNuck, though several of the actors come from other sources. You can download it here.
Wolfm2 First 60 level set from Nate Smith. Fans of the Spear 'Lost Episodes' will particularly like this one. Good varied layout, and fairly difficult to play. Overall, a pretty good set. Find it here.
Wolfndie is an early 10 level set requiring the registered set to play. Most levels are totally new, though some may seem familiar at times. (This is deliberate, the enclosed text file will explain). Overall, it's OK. Click here to download it.
