ABOUT THE SITE

Hello. Thank you for deciding to read my Internet website. Here's a bit of info about the site, that you might be interested in.

1. I use the basic Windows 95 software. I write the HTML script in Notepad and graphics are done in Paintbrush.

2. I use a Pentium MMX 200Mhz computer running Windows 95, Office 97 and Internet Explorer 5.

3. I upload it, using CuteFTP. A program I downloaded from www.CuteFTP.com.

4. I started writing HTML on a Local Web at college in October 1997. The first version of this site was started in mid February 1998. I thought about using frames but decided to keep it simple for the benefit of the viewer and to make it easier for me to update.

5. I try to be as accurate as possible in comments made on the site but I'm quite busy so please excuse me for inaccuracy and if things are out of date.

6. The colours in the logo are just random colours that I thought looked quite good. The logo was designed by me with Paintbrush. The background is just something I made when I was bored. It's not supposed to mean anything.

7. The JavaScript stuff is from various parts of the Internet.

9. The lyric of the moment is from The Cedar Room by the Doves. 7 and a half minutes of epic brilliance. It's track 10 on their brilliant Lost Souls album.

10. I decided to get my own domain name because I wanted to generate as much traffic to my site as possible. I also want people to remember the site name easily. I hope it works!
