Bratislava
Bratislava is just across the border from Vienna and only takes about an hour to get there. The city has some very interesting communist architecture and a lovely old town which really contrast each other.
4th July
Budapest
Budapest is worth going to just for the baths,which are amazing and you really feel refreshed after spending an hour in there. But there is loads else to do and see. Try and stay at the Yellow Submarine hostel. It's cheap and you really feel at home there.

9th July
Eger
Night train to Krakow
Wine tasting in Eger in northern Hungary was an experience. I hadn't eaten much that day and felt a bit light-headed after a few glasses of red!
Krakow is another city that you really should not miss. The salt mines are amazing and the city itself has some amazing architecture.
12th July
Warsaw
I've been here before so I didn't really do much here. The Palace of Culture and Science (Palac Kultury I Nauki in Polish, the largest and tallest building in Poland) has a panoramic viewing deck on the 30th floor whre you can take in views of the city. The Poles often joke this is the best view in the city as you don't see the Palace of Culture itself!

Berlin
Had another look around the city. I've been here before as well. There's sop much to see here you really need a good week or so to see everything.
17th July
Berlin to Stansted Airport
The flight was just the same as going the other way. Got back home at about 5pm.
