PROFICIENCY BADGES
We have carefully researched and produced a s mall selection of Proficiency badges as worn in the British Victorian army. Great care has been taken to ensure that the badges are accurate in size, colour and design. These divide into two categories - Trade or Qualification badges and Prize or Skill-at-Arms badges. A quick glance at any photograph of the period will show that these badges were very widely worn, and therefore they will be of particular interest to members of re-enactment groups, who can now make their uniforms even more authentic and interesting. We intend to extend the range and would welcome enquiries for any particular badge.
