Built
in the 16th century Littledean castle has had a fairly quiet
history maybe due to the fact that it is tucked away in a very
quiet area on the River Tweed
Strictly speaking Littledean is not a castle but a tower which was fortified. You will see that from the photo's there are still fragments of plasterwork dotted around the walls and also some graffiti. There are obvious signs that GI'S stationed here during the war were involved in this graffiti but i have to question is the graffiti above genuine or an elaborate fake?.
