This is the oldest inhabited house in Scotland and it was from here that Bonnie Prince Charlie set off on his quest to claim the throne of Scotland. The gates he rode through on his exit were promptly locked and the owner swore that they would never reopen until a Stewart was reseated on the throne of Scotland. By the side of the house is a small brewery producing ale that is quite pleasant to taste but wow!!.It has some kick to it.
