UK Organisations for Behavioural Intervention

As far as I am aware (please correct me if I am wrong!) there is only one organisation in the UK for parents/people who want to find out about Behavioural Intervention and that is P.E.AC.H. (Parents for the Early intervention of Autism in Children). It has only been going for just over a year and has developed rapidly in that time. It holds bi-monthly meetings at the Methodist Church, Station Road, Barnes, London and can be contacted at PO Box 10836, Barnes, London SW13 9ZN. It publishes a list of 'Area Buddies ' and a quarterly newsletter and aims to increase the number of individuals in the UK trained in behavioural therapy as well as providing information for parents and professionals. On September 12-13, 1997 it hosted a conference featuring Dr Lovaas at Imperial College in London. They provide information to members including a pack of information to help in the long drawn out process of trying to obtain LEA funding (cost £20 to members and £45 to non-members plus a large SAE and £3.45 in stamps).
