This month saw a new arrival to the equine team at Clyn Du - a lovely TB mare called Cassie.
Cassie is 15.3hh and 6 years old. She belongs to |Wendy, who works part-time at the centre. Her daughter, Sarah, gets in on the act, too, and rides the mare when she can!
Two of Clyn Du's more established mares went off to stud this month. Merthyr, a 17hh gentle giant has retired from schooling due to stiffness, despite being only 15 years old. Ella, a beautiful but over-sharp mare has joined her. So, in the next year we should see more foalies at Clyn Du!
Rhian and Adrian are preparing for the dressage competition at their local riding club, Gower. Rhian will do the prelim. on Sonny and Adrian will do the novice on Katie.
