Multiple Sclerosis Factsheet This factsheet contains information on our approach to multiple sclerosis. One in three people will develop cancer during their lifetime, and this number is likely to increase to one in two in the near future. There are a number of important elements that should be considered when dealing with multiple sclerosis:

Herbal Medicines Many individual herbs and herbal formulations have traditional use, or anecdotal evidence supporting their usefulness in MS. The best herbal approach is by individual prescription by a qualified herbalist, who will take into account the actual symptoms of the patient, in addition to the underlying pathological and pathophysiological processes. Herbs that are often considered include the following:
Therapies that may be helpful A number of therapies can be helpful in supporting the individual at a very difficult and emotional time. Those that may be particularly helpful include:

Practical support and information With our experience in dealing with MS, we have a wealth of knowledge and understanding, not only regarding our own Complementary and Alternative Medical approach, but in understanding the conventional approach. We can offer support with, and help you understand any conventional treatment you are receiving, and are available at the end of the telephone if you need us. A note about Conventional treatments Conventional cancer treatment has advanced little over the years. Most treatments are focussed on the use of anti-inflammatory drugs, such as steroids, interferon, and so on. These suppress the immune system together with suppressing inflammation, and often lead to other problems. We can help support the individual as they receive conventional treatments, often helping patients recover quickly between courses of treatment, reducing the negative impact of the treatment upon the immune system and the body in general. It may be possible to avoid some of the adverse effects completely. All our therapies will work alongside conventional treatment, and any individual treatment you receive will be taken into consideration when building an individual treatment programme. What next? The approaches discussed above are general and not specific to any individual. Following a FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION we will be able to recommend an individual programme specific for your needs. This will undoubtedly include a number of investigations or tests, and the ones usually recommended are either the Full Body Screening test or the Organix test. There is no obligation for you to have either, but will help individualise your treatment programme and prioritise any approaches we recommend.
