Welcome to the Radlett Horticultural Society based in Radlett, Hertfordshire, England. For over sixty years the society has been the focus for the gardeners of Radlett, providing advice, supplies, shows, talks and visits to gardens near and far. The Society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.
Events in May are the Spring Plant Sale at 2pm on Saturday 5 May at 2pm in the Scout Hut, Scrubbitts Park Rd; Day trip to Nymans NT Garden on Thursday 10 May; Aylett Trophy entry & collection dates at the Store on 20 & 27 May; and talk ‘The World of Plants’ by John Tyler on 31 May.
A trip to Prince Charles’ garden at Highgrove has been arranged for 31 May and a party made up from those at the top of the list. Further details on the More About page.
Notes: 1) The coach for the trip to Nymans Garden leaves from Radlett Post Office
at 9.30am, returning about 6pm -
2) Please bring plants for sale at the Spring Plant Sale to the Scout Hut between
9am and 12noon -
3) The Aldenham Centenary Cup for the ‘best display by a commercial property’ will be presented at the Diamond Jubilee Radlett Street Party on 3 June, but there will be no Society Plant Tombola at the event. However a small plant sale will be held near the War Memorial.
Unfortunately, due to lack of support, the proposed holiday to Scotland in June has had to be cancelled. Further details on the More About page.

Some members of the Society have taken part in the preparation of a Channel 4 TV documentary which was filmed at a house in Radlett in March. We have been told it will be shown on 7 May. Further details.
