New Hi Res H alpha
images
Here are some of my
more recent images, using the the Takahashi FS128. There is no
need for an apo refractor as you are using monochromatic light,
but that's all I have so I use it. It would be possible to use
a simple singlet lens. All the images have been captured using
a Basler digital camera, and Aquinto A4I Docu software, some enhancement
in Adobe Photoshop, like levels, unsharp mask, and brightness
and contrast tweaks. The images were taken using a red filter
to produce a more contrasty B & W image, the colour of the
prominence was added later in Photoshop.
They do take a while
to load, but I thought they deserved to be a bit bigger.
