In this section you
will find links to sites which are recommended as worth checking
into about any of your computer component needs, though sites
will obviously contain lots of other info. Usually the sites
here will primarily talk about hardware for computers, such
as Processors, Video Cards, Sound Cards, Motherboards etc, and
have various sections such as previews, reviews, tests, comparisons,
and so forth. If you just want to check the latest news, releases
and price changes of components, or if you range from beginner
to expert in regard to technology, and want to learn more, these
sites are ideal for you. Thanks to Dave (Shreeve, Kaytan, Pooh!)
for helping put this page together by supplying the majority
of sites, and the continual help with all things technical :)
One
of the best websites on all things sound and audio, whether
to do with speakers, cards or latest breakthroughs in sound
development. This should meet all needs.
NVNews
is dedicated to all the latest that NVidia has to offer, particularly
news relating to the GeForce 2/3 range of chipset cards.
The
3D Chipset site contains a collection of reviews and info, mostly
on hardware and Video Cards, and often sent in or directly linked
to those on some of the major hardware sites.
Mainly
targetted towards Video Cards, especially NVidia's range, there
is also plenty of info to be found on most of the performance
related areas of computers. Also latest news and downloads of
patches, updates etc.

Hardware & Gaming

An
excellent site to find out all the latest on hardware and games,
updated daily, very in-depth and very user friendly. Dave and
I would highly recommend this site to anyone who needs to know
what the word on the street is.
Plenty
of gaming reviews and previews to keep you busy for a long time.
There are reviews of Processors and Video Cards at Firing Squad,
but the word is gaming.
Strongly
aimed towards latest drivers, patches and updates, M3DZone also
caters for some reviews and previews on hardware and software,
though it isn't one of the mainstream sites.
A
site laid out in a way that makes it easy to find what you want,
as the name implies it concentrates on just about all aspects
of computer hardware, in particular Mainboards (Motherboards),
CPU's (Processors), Graphics and Video, Display and Monitors,
Storage (Hard Drives), and occasionally delving into other peripherals
and components. Lots of info here.. one of better sites out
there on computer hardware.
Lots
of guides, walkthroughs, previews/reviews, news, prices etc..
Be sure to keep and eye on the date of each article to make
sure you're reading up to date info. An excellent site on all
things hardware.
One
of my favourites, the sister site to Hardware Central, so the
setup is quite similar.
Would
you like to have a favourite site of yours added here, or believe
one of the site assessments should be modified? Then please
let me know :) thanks.
