BARFORD ART GROUP :
Barford Art Group was formed over 12 years ago, to provide an opportunity for painters to come together to learn from each other and professional artists.
Most of the members are watercolourists, but other media are used and we have demonstrations to encourage the use of a wide variety of media. We have a regular tutor on the first 2 sessions each month, the other weeks we do our own thing or have a workshop or demonstration.
 We hold an exhibition annually. The photograph shows our exhibition in 2005.
Most of our members are retired, but we would welcome
younger people. As we have limited space, our membership is kept to 22,
and we have a waiting list for membership. We keep our costs as low
as possible and at the present time the subs are £1.50 a session, payable
at the beginning of each term.
