"PLAYS AND PLATTERS" :
Barford Drama Group presents "Plays and Platters", an evening of two one-act plays and a light supper.
Friday June 13th and and Saturday June 14th in Barford Memorial Hall.
"Millie's Tale" by Jean McConnell
"Knightsbridge" by John Mortimer
Doors open 7:30pm, curtain up at 8:00pm.
Tickets £7.50 each, to include supper.

DRAMA GROUP NEWS :
In November 2007, the 25th Music Hall took place - every night was sold out! The Fridays and Saturdays were booked in the first 2 hours and the rest of the tickets sold during the next few days.
We even had a few guests who had been unable to get tickets for the show come to the dress rehearsal. This year we had several items featuring the younger members of the group, notably a rendition of "Fame" that almost brought the house down.
 We are very grateful for the enthusiastic support we receive from the village and this has enabled us to present a cheque for over £5000 to the Village Shop Group at a fund-raising event on 10th December (see photo).

WHY NOT CONSIDER BECOMING A MEMBER?
Each year, Barford Drama Group performs two full length plays, and the Music Hall in November. Some years we also take part in One Act Play Competitions. We have monthly business and activity meetings throughout the year, as well as running a number of social events.
You could join us on stage, or working on the lighting, sound or
other backstage jobs, or as a supporter. You will be very welcome
in any of these roles. The annual subscription is £10 for
adults or £1 for students.
