6.1 Bembridge - London (Biggin Hill)

There were proposals to start a commercial air service between Bembridge airport and Biggin Hill near London. Although the service was initially advertised, the proposals are presently on hold. The airport at Bembridge is also home of the Pilatus Britten Norman company which manufactures the twin engine, 10 seat Islander aircraft.

6.2 Charter Services

There are airports at Sandown and at Bembridge, from both of which it is possible to charter aircraft to specific destinations or for pleasure trips round the Island.
