"Helping you live life to the full"

Ferris Jay has been working as a complementary therapist in Cambridgeshire for the past 5 years, practicing massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and reiki healing. More recently she has qualified in Flower Essence Therapy and Animal Communication. In June 2005 Ferris graduated from a rigorous (and thoroughly enjoyable) four year diploma course at the Barbara Brennan School in Florida, a specialised institute of energy healing and personal transformation, run by renowned healer and physicist Barbara Brennan.

Ferris is passionate about helping her clients to take an active role in their health and wellbeing and she offers tailored packages, drawing on her wealth of skills, to help her clients to live life to the full and find true health and happiness.

In her practice Ferris believes strongly in supporting her clients holistically, thus addressing issues on the mental, emotional and spiritual levels as well as physically. In addition to helping clients through times of illness she is also available to help them maintain and enhance their health, wellbeing and personal development. She loves to help people reach their full potential and really get the most out of life.

Ferris offers a wide variety of complementary therapies and can build a session around the specific needs of her clients.

Ferris is pleased to be able to serve the animal kingdom and work with our animal friends.

History

I grew up in Dublin, Ireland and developed a passion for our traditional music and a love of nature, animals and the countryside. I was not consciously aware of the benefits of complementary therapies in 1994 when I was ill with IBS. The condition wasn’t responding to conventional medicine and so I tried aromatherapy, which was wonderful. It felt very empowering to be able to help myself so effectively and easily. I continued to use aromatherapy personally but it was only in 1998, when I took a reiki course, that I realized how much I loved this work and that I wanted to pursue it professionally. I enrolled in the Beaumont College of Natural Medicine in 1999 and studied massage, then aromatherapy and reflexology. I opened my complementary therapy practice in the Cambridgeshire fens in July 2000. In October 2001 I enrolled in the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and began a wonderful journey of learning, creativity and self transformation. In my final year I carried out an in depth study of the power of our dreams and longings and designed a program for working with altars and meditation to help follow our true longings in life.

I am currently developing a range of products combining essential oils and flower essences to help feed the spirit. As well as health and healing I am also passionate about music and am a working musician, specializing in traditional celtic and early music.
