Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa and a collection of picturesque
towns and villages,
including Barford, all set amid rolling English countryside,
criss-crossed by rivers and canals.

Local attractions :
Historic Warwick, with its famous mediaeval Castle, is only a few
miles from Barford. Take a virtual
tour of the castle

Just five miles from Barford, and a favourite spot for Queen Victoria,
Leamington Spa is proud of its "Royal" prefix and now
offers an up to date "fashionable
experience" of shopping, eating and more. Would Victoria have
been amused?
There
are a number of historic National Trust properties
nearby, including Charlecote
Park and Baddesley
Clinton.
Stratford-upon-Avon is just a few miles to the south
of the village. Guided walks of the town operate all year round. They are both entertaining and interesting, and appeal to individuals or groups of people - click for more details.

of England site for a comprehensive list of many attractions
for visitors to the area, and excellent photographs.
Compton Verney is a new art gallery in Warwickshire. It was founded
by philanthropist Sir Peter Moores as a way of offering
visitors informal and enjoyable ways
of experiencing art.
The Tudor house and gardens at
Coughton
Court, with its associations with Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder
Plot (300th anniversary in 2005), offer a wonderful day out
with something for everyone to enjoy.
The world famous teddy
bear museum and shop are located in a heritage 16th
century building in the heart of Shakespeare's Stratford.

TRAVEL :
Access to the area could not be
easier as it is ideally located in the Heart of England, only one
and a half hours from London and 30 minutes from Birmingham International
Airport and the NEC.
The M40 links the area with the motorway network.
Junction 15 is only one mile north of Barford.
There are
regular train and coach services from London and many
other parts of the country.
