Updated: October 2023 BUS TRAVEL TO STAY CHEAPER FOR LONGER : The government has announced adult single bus fares will continue to be capped at £2 until the end of 2024. The continuation of the scheme means passengers in Warwickshire will pay a maximum of £2 for a single bus journey, regardless of the distance travelled. Most Warwickshire bus operators (including Stagecoach) have signed up to the scheme aimed to help with the rising cost of living. CONCESSIONARY TRAVEL SCHEME : Many senior Citizens (60+) and disabled people qualify for concessions which in many cases provide free bus travel throughout England. In addition to the national bus pass scheme, eligible residents of Warwick district are able to apply for travel tokens, which may be used to travel on a train, by taxi or by bus and National Express Coaches.
